The Netherlands

From Edinburgh we caught a flight to Amsterdam. The flight on it's own was quite the adventure. Long story short a drunk couple behind us were asked to change seats cause they were sitting in an exit row....a gentleman was asked to get off the plane cause security was waiting for him at the front of the plane....two other gentleman were asked to come to the front that were accompanying the first man to identify their luggage, first man never got back on the plane, but the other two eventually came back, and then we were off to Amsterdam.
Once we landed in Amsterdam we caught a bus to and then a train to get to Haarlem. Our little B&B was about a 5 minute walk from the train station....once we figured out which way we were going. This B&B we were a little worried about cause the pics we saw online didn't show a bathroom door, but alas it was sliding door like the old school closet doors.

The next day we trained it back into Amsterdam to check out the Anne Frank House. We decided to take a boat tour as well since there was a stop right by the Anne Frank House, and it would alleviate some of the walking. Pretty much the sole purpose of going to Amsterdam was to see her home....it was very interesting to walk through and to see where she lived. They had interview with those that new Anne some of the survivors, video of Auschwitz, journals, etc.
After touring the Frank home we were hungry so we walked around a bit and found the Pancake Pantry. Essentially their version of pancakes are like crepes....very delicious and very large. I had an apple one with cinnamon ice cream.

The following day we walked around Haarlem and got ourselves ready to catch the night train to Germany.
