The bro had found a little place in China Town that threw their own noodles. I also found out that when it says spicy in DC, it is a whole lot spicier than what you get out in the West!

Washington DC Day 1
National Zoo.......love that it was free! Not too bad of a selection of animals. Although slightly disappointed that the Asian Pandas were sleeping and too lazy to get up and give me a friendly wave or nod. No pics for them cause I don't need to see a panda bum.
After the zoo we went to check into our other hotel that just happened to be a few blocks from where my bro was working so he met us for lunch and we made plans for later that evening. To kill the time we headed off to National Mall. We decided to hit up the American Heritage Museum first.
My favorite part was looking at all the "pop" culture stuff. Ruby slippers from Wizard of OZ and of course Kermit the Frog!
Next we walked out to the capitol building to meet up with the bro to go to China Town for some dinner.
