One of my favorite days was renting bikes, which bytheway if you go to DC I would highly recommend renting bikes to get around town. We started our day renting our bikes and then went off to the Holocaust Museum, but it was a little crowded so after looking around for a bit we decided to head off to the Portrait Gallery.
This was at the end of one of the halls....Can you read it???
After that we decided to go find some food since we were hungry! While waiting for our food we decided to take some selfies of ourselves.
Part of the reason we wanted to rent bikes was that we wanted to visit all the sites at night. We had heard the monuments were really cool at night. We spent some time at the WWII memorial.

The Lincoln Memorial...it was super crowded since we had a bit of a rain shower everyone was taking cover.

The Martin Luther King Memorial was under construction so couldn't get a really good picture of the monument, but maybe my next trip all the scaffolding will be gone.

We found a bike path that ran along the water so we biked over to the Jefferson Memorial.....
Me on the steps.....
The Korean War Memorial.....
Fun times with my siblings in Washington DC......Can't wait for our next trip!
