The parental unit was having some back issues and had just been in the hospital a day before for a procedure on her back L4 & L5 vertebra's. The following day she thought she could go into the garage and get some stuff out of the freezer, on her way back into the house her leg gave out and she fell backward into the garage. She ended up braking her wrist......we had to rush her over to the hospital and then over to specialist to set her wrist. They put her in this lovely contraption.....the doctor called it the Chinese finger torture. Just to clarify that bucket is not for her elbow to pee in......
This lovely experience led to several weeks of me having to be nice.....such a stretch for me. Although, I did come to have more sympathy for my mom and all the times she had to sit with me through the years at all my ER visits. At least she is on the mend.....although she won't let me be her physical therapist......I wonder why???
